It can be effectively applied in the early stage of infection, as well as in situations where the use of antibiotics is not possible, for example in laying hens during egg production or prior to sending birds for slaughter. ColiBlock (protection against colibacillosis) is also recommended for prophylactic use when colibacillosis occurs cyclically at any stage of production.
