Description
ACIDVET – a concentrated acidifying preparation for optimal pH.
Intended for poultry.
Product description:
Acidvet is a concentrated acidifying preparation using a blend of the most valuable acids, zinc, and copper to limit the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria through strong acidification of the gastrointestinal tract. The product ensures optimal intestinal pH, improves nutrient digestibility, and supports the natural immunity of the flock, serving as an effective tool of nutritional prevention.
Composition:
-
Formic acid (35%)
-
Citric, propionic, acetic, and lactic acids
-
Zinc (from zinc acetate, 5000 mg/kg)
-
Copper (from copper sulfate, 2000 mg/kg)
-
Glycerin and propylene glycol
Characteristics:
Formic acid (35%) shows strong antibacterial properties, lowers intestinal pH, and inhibits the growth of pathogens such as E. coli and Salmonella spp. Citric, propionic, acetic, and lactic acids act synergistically to stabilize the intestinal environment, improve digestion, and limit undesirable fermentation in the large intestine. Zinc supports regeneration of the intestinal epithelium, participates in immune processes, and has anti-inflammatory effects. Copper exhibits bacteriostatic activity and supports oxidative enzymatic processes essential for liver health and immune function. Glycerin and propylene glycol act osmotically and energetically, improving product stability and the bioavailability of active ingredients.
Mode of action:
ACIDVET gradually acidifies the gastrointestinal environment, limiting the development of pathogenic bacteria: E. coli, Clostridium perfringens, and Salmonella spp. Lower intestinal pH promotes beneficial microflora, improves digestive enzyme activity, and increases the bioavailability of trace elements. Zinc and copper act synergistically – protecting the intestinal mucosa from damage, supporting epithelial healing, and strengthening innate immunity. Regular use stabilizes the intestinal environment, reduces diarrhea, and supports feed conversion, directly translating into better production results.
Dosage:
0.5-1 L per 1000 L of water for 1-3 days, regularly during production.
