Rapicid is an effective disinfectant-detergent with a broad spectrum of action that can be safely used in the presence of animals. This liquid product combines cleaning and disinfecting properties, providing comprehensive protection.
The product is intended for disinfection of rooms and air in livestock facilities, as well as equipment and furnishings related to animal housing. It performs excellently in the control of infectious diseases and in maintaining basic farm hygiene. Rapicid is also used for disinfecting vehicles and other areas that may contribute to the spread of pathogens. Rapicid disinfectant-detergent is additionally ideal for disinfecting veterinary, zootechnical, and laboratory equipment, soaking disinfection mats, use in disinfection baths, and disinfecting hatching eggs in poultry hatcheries.
The disinfectant-detergent shows proven bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal activity. It effectively eliminates, among others, foot-and-mouth disease virus, swine vesicular disease virus, avian viruses (including Newcastle disease and avian influenza), Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and fungi such as Candida albicans. The Rapicid formula, based on active iodine and detergents, ensures stability even in the presence of organic contamination and at low temperatures. After use, the product undergoes biodegradation, making it environmentally friendly.
